One full week in the books! It always amazes me how quickly we settle into our new and old routines (that fire drill today felt like a well oiled machine!), and how quickly a new group of students can feel like family.  What an exhilarating (and exhausting-- maybe that's just me?) first two days of school! This year in the newsletter we will be spotlighting photos that match our two school goals (implementing instructional routines that shift the cognitive load to students, and integrating SEL knowledge throughout the day). Aimee and I will be on the lookout as we are in classrooms, but feel free to shine the spotlight on yourself by sending us photos!
