Week of April 22

Pasqueflowers, or pulsatilla patens, is one of my favorite signs of spring. There are a couple of spots where I look every year for this whiteish purple flower, but last night I came around a corner up at Sutey Ranch and was surprised by this little patch. Savor the known traditions of this time of year-- art show, field trips, overnights, even CMAS-- and make space for the surprises!

Teach Plus is looking for members for their 24-25 cohort of the  Colorado Policy Fellowship. Both Jeane and Kendall have done this policy fellowship in the past, and really enjoyed it.  Applications and nominations are open now through May 3rd, 2024. This is a highly selective leadership opportunity for outstanding Colorado teachers looking to deepen their knowledge of education policy and amplify the voices of teacher leaders in the state.
