| Centering student voice-- by having them share with their parents! 4th grade had a great celebration this week for their animal defense books. |

Feeling a little stuck, and need some new ideas for whole class incentives? Check out these ideas that Ms. Ellen's class came up with! (although I'm not so sure about the trip to Denver).

new information and need to know:
We are starting the interview process for classroom teachers. If you are available to participate in interviews on 3/5, 3/7, and or 3/11 after school please let Aimee know. Thank you!
K, 2, 3, 4 teachers: please sign up for your 2nd round with Mr. G here:
CMAS: As shared in BLT, here's the CMAS schedule. First grade language will be the most impacted, and we are working on plans so as to not impact homeroom teachers. Testing dates are primarily April 8th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 15th, and 16th.
Please fill out this survey to help Jenn Lauckhart with her student teaching coursework!

Lit Bit:
Grade Level Progress Monitor: This is week two of completing grade level probes on ALL students. This week the students in Round 2 will be tested. This is a great time to look over data and see how we are doing to close the achievement gap for students while still having time to do something about it. Reach out if you have any questions.
**I will be sending reminder emails if you are missing progress monitor data on students next week. We want to make sure we have this data point on ALL students.
tlcc: we are close! if you haven't completed it yet, they extended the deadline to march 8th.

STEM ask: thank you and please, please keep those slim cardboard boxes coming! (Cereal boxes or boxes of similar thickness.) Fourth grade this week made “scissor arms” with axle and hinge pins.
Shoutouts and Fun:
Some students are triggered when asked to wear their glasses and others find joy in wearing their “Gucci glasses"! (Look closely at the lenses they say Gucci!)
Shoutout to Jeane, Sue, and Sacha for taking on extra coverage on Wednesday. |
 |
| Check out the titles of their animal books.. They named them after each other! |
Shoutout to the office team for all the work you do registering our newest students!
 |
| Perseverence AND joy on the fourth grade ski trip on Tuesday! PS Kenly- we all want to know what you sacrificed to the weather gods. |
