Week of Halloween!

School goal #1-- check out these feelings monsters that fourth grade made! Email 4th if you want to do it for your class for Halloween!

School goal #2-- Carly bringing labeling to life by having her students label her. This student was labeling her eyes, and was definitely fully engaged!

New information:

Family newsletter.

Lit Bit:
This week we will be testing round 2 students during reading intervention. Classroom teachers, if you missed anyone last week feel free to assess them this week.

2nd, 3rd and 4th: please complete your monthly MAZE progress monitor with your entire home class. This is great practice with the testing platform and a good way to check progress on reading comprehension. There’s a graph in our “DIBELS tracker” folder that has been shared with the entire staff.

PTO is ready to start their grant cycle! More information is here, but please make sure to work with your team (they've identified teams for those who don't have a clear team) on your request. They are hoping to work with teams on funding "hands-on learning opportunities such as field trips, guest presenters, classroom support materials, camping and cultural experiences that enhance classroom instruction and impact the greatest number of students. "

Halloween parade info is here!

Extra duties pay, and counseling referral form are both on the important links section of the newsletter.
